We have some exciting news! Hillside Brewery is holding an event on February 1st (2015), with live music, their own beers, locally sourced ciders and wines and fantastic local grub from Cameron’s Quality Butchers and the Forest Bakehouse at Longhope. So, what is all of this in aid of? Well, it’s the first of their monthly celebrations that are set to take place over 2015.
All the family are welcome. There will be soft drinks available for children and those who choose not to ‘imbibe’. We spoke to Paul Williamson of Hillside Brewery about his plans for the business to become a place for people to meet, eat, drink and generally have a great time. It’s all about engaging with the community – which we think is a great idea.

Fantastic Venue for events!
Hillside Brewery is located in the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside that surrounds The Forest of Dean, so it’s a great place for holding events. In fact, there may even be a beer festival coming up this summer, which is exciting news for the area!
WyeDean Deli Confidential was originally started because we think that there’s a great deal to celebrate in terms of food and drink in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. So, we’ll be checking out the event at Hillside Brewery on Feb 1st and watching their progress closely throughout the year. They brew fantastic beers and ales, but the whole site also has the potential to become a vibrant community hub – let’s hope we have a good summer.
